46% of Women Expect Salary Increases in 2025: Survey
A Bayt.com survey of over 1,200 employees across the GCC, North Africa, and the Levant reveals that 46% of women expect salary increases of 20% or more in 2025, compared to 34% of men. However, men are more likely to receive bonuses and monetary perks, while women benefit from work-life balance policies.
The survey noted that only 25% of respondents had flexible working hours, and family-oriented benefits like educational allowances remain limited.
Job mobility remains high, with 81% of employees spending less than two years with their current employer. Younger workers, particularly those aged 18-25, report higher turnover rates, driven by inadequate salaries, burnout, and limited recognition.
Employers are urged to address gaps in compensation, benefits, and workplace culture to retain talent and reduce turnover.
