Ferrari to Raise Prices by 10% on Select Models Amid U.S. Tariffs

Luxury sports car maker Ferrari has announced that it will increase prices on some of its models by up to 10% starting April 2 in response to the new U.S. auto tariffs. The decision could add tens of thousands of dollars to the cost of Ferrari's high-end vehicles.

Price Increases on Popular Ferrari Models

According to the company, the price hikes will not apply to vehicles imported before April 2. However, three of Ferrari’s most in-demand models will see a 10% increase:

  • Purosangue SUV – Currently priced at $430,000, set to increase by approximately $43,000.

  • 12Cilindri – Price increase details not disclosed.

  • F80 Hypercar – With a base price exceeding $3.5 million, the increase could exceed $350,000.

Ferrari's 296, SF90, and Roma models will not be affected by the new pricing.

Impact of U.S. Tariffs on Ferrari

The decision comes after President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff on all cars not manufactured in the United States. Ferrari, which builds all of its vehicles in Maranello, Italy, is among the luxury automakers impacted.

Despite the added costs, Ferrari’s customer base may not be significantly affected, as many of its buyers have long waiting lists and high financial flexibility.

CEO’s Take on the Price Hikes

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna acknowledged that while Ferrari buyers are wealthy, the company remains mindful of passing on additional costs.

“We need to make sure that we treat our clients in the right way,” Vigna said.

Ferrari’s Market Performance and Future Plans

  • Ferrari produced 13,752 cars in 2024.

  • The company will launch its first all-electric model in October 2025.

  • Ferrari maintains its 2025 financial targets, despite acknowledging a 50 basis point risk to profit margins due to tariffs.

Following the announcement, Ferrari’s stock remained stable, while shares of major U.S. automakers showed slight declines.
