About
Dr. Freddie A. Lee’s journey is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and purposeful leadership. Raised in a home marked by instability and alcoholism, he recalls, “I learned what it meant to live in a world of fear, uncertainty, and dysfunctionality,” experiences that forged his empathy, discipline, and unwavering commitment to serving others. Over five decades, Dr. Lee has distinguished himself across military service, education, global peacebuilding, and leadership development.
A retired U.S. Army officer and defense acquisition expert, Dr. Lee earned national recognition twice, including the National Defense Industrial Association’s Contractor Tester of the Year Award. His development of test strategies for life-saving systems remains a cornerstone of his contributions to national security. Transitioning from military service, he became a transformative administrator at Baltimore’s Saint Frances Academy, implementing the “High Standards, Insist, Assist” model, securing accreditation, expanding technological access, and building lasting community partnerships that strengthened the school’s foundation.
Dr. Lee’s impact extended globally through his appointment as a United Nations Peace Ambassador with Word of Life Ministries International (WOLMI). In this role, he champions education, humanitarian outreach, and peace initiatives worldwide, advancing global education, poverty alleviation, and humanitarian programs. As CEO of F. Lee Global Leadership Solutions LLC and a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, he now mentors emerging leaders to cultivate essential soft skills and people-centered capabilities. His bestselling co-authored book, The Essential Soft Skills for Effective Leadership, alongside scholarly work on transformational leadership, underscores his belief that effective leadership thrives on compassion, clarity, and service.
Rooted in faith, shaped by hardship, and honed through decades of service, Dr. Lee’s vision focuses on nurturing leaders who build peace, promote equity, and strengthen communities. He reflects in his chapter of The Peace Within, The Home, The School, The Community, “Peace begins within… it is a continuous process of healing, growth, and letting go.” From soldier to strategist, educator to ambassador, and mentor to global advocate, H.E. Dr. Freddie A. Lee exemplifies how purpose and perseverance converge to create meaningful change, inspiring new generations to lead with integrity and empathy.
