Dr. Priscilla “Dr. P” Kucer

Company: Priscilla Kucer Consulting Solutions, LLC

Designation: Founder | CEO

Country: United States

Dr. Priscilla “Dr. P” Kucer’s academic journey was far from conventional. Growing up in Barbados, she faced challenges in reading and mathematics, often misreading information and struggling with spelling. It wasn’t until she pursued a Specialist degree in School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in the U.S. that she discovered she had dyslexia. This revelation helped her understand the struggles she faced and recognize the coping mechanisms she had developed to succeed. Before NSU, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of the West Indies – Cave Hill Campus, where her elective courses in human resources and business laid a strong foundation for her career. Initially pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, she soon realized her true calling lay in School Psychology. Her growing interest in leadership and organizational development later led her to pursue a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University.

Four years ago, she founded Priscilla Kucer Consulting Solutions (PKCS) LLC®, a global management consulting firm focused on micro and small businesses. Noticing a gap in support for businesses with fewer than 10 employees, particularly in their startup and early growth stages, she launched PKCS to provide strategic advice and coaching. At the heart of PKCS’s approach is the OPLE System, which integrates organizational development, personal skills, leadership, and education. This structured framework helps business owners build sustainable, long-term success. Her philosophy, Solutions+Actions=Results! (SoAR!)®, embodies the company’s commitment to actionable growth strategies. PKCS has expanded its reach to businesses with up to 150 employees across industries such as beauty, finance, education, health, and nonprofits. The firm has gained international recognition, featured in major publications like WomELLE WomLEAD, Passion Vista Magazine, Insights Success, and CIO Today Magazine. Dr. P’s active involvement in organizations such as the Women’s Business Council – Southwest and her strong social media presence have further solidified PKCS’s credibility.

Despite an unexpected start to 2024, PKCS surpassed its business goals for the first half of the year, exceeding its client and revenue targets. This success enabled Dr. P to refine the OPLE System and strengthen the firm’s consulting and coaching services. The introduction of new certifications and partnerships has further enhanced PKCS’s ability to offer tailored solutions. One of PKCS’s key strengths is its highly customized approach. Unlike traditional consulting firms, it focuses exclusively on micro and small businesses, ensuring that each client receives individualized guidance suited to their unique needs. This personalization, coupled with competitive pricing, makes high-quality consulting and coaching accessible to businesses with limited resources.

Dr. P attributes organizational success to clear communication and authenticity. Leaders must ensure employees understand the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals while fostering a work environment that values feedback and collaboration. She emphasizes the importance of aligning employees with roles that match their skills and interests, as this fosters engagement and long-term commitment. A strong team is not built overnight—it requires continuous effort, transparency, and alignment with company objectives.

PKCS also places a strong emphasis on innovation, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals focused on economic growth and innovation. Research plays a crucial role in the company’s strategies, ensuring that its services remain relevant and impactful. By staying ahead of industry trends, PKCS continuously refines its offerings to help businesses navigate market challenges effectively.

Looking ahead, Dr. P is excited about expanding PKCS’s services and international reach. The firm remains committed to supporting the Weiss Scholarship Foundation, which provides educational opportunities for children in Dago, Kenya. PKCS is also working on revamping the SoAR! Masterclass and SoAR! Summit while exploring international retreat locations for micro and small business owners. Additionally, PKCS is organizing a retreat specifically for women entrepreneurs, aligning with the UN SDGs focused on gender equality and sustainable growth. The SoAR! Training Institute will soon introduce new self-paced online courses on time management and management consulting, providing business owners with practical, actionable tools.

Another significant initiative is expanding PKCS’s Peer Advisory Boards, or Mastermind Groups, which provide affordable strategic advice through small-group sessions. As demand for PKCS’s services grows, Dr. P is looking to expand her team to better serve clients worldwide.

Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to conduct thorough research and take calculated risks. Understanding market gaps, networking, and forming strategic partnerships are key to building a successful business. She also stresses the importance of authenticity and strategic planning, reminding business owners that Solutions+Actions=Results! (SoAR!)®. Through PKCS, she continues to empower micro and small businesses, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to thrive.
