Anshu Kak stands at the intersection of visionary technology leadership and global impact, with a remarkable career spanning over three decades across some of the world’s most influential organizations like Alphabet, IBM and GE. Known for her strategic foresight and transformative execution, she has continuously redefined enterprise success by enabling large-scale digital transformation, accelerating innovation with organizations and championing diversity in the technology industry. 

Currently serving as the Global Vice President for Google Cloud Platform, Data, and Private AI at Kyndryl, Anshu leads a global organization focused on cloud services strategy, implementation, and taking customers on Private AI journey, with focus on digital transformation and customer success.  

Over the years as a VP/ Distinguished Engineer  her leadership has been instrumental in driving operational consistency, scalable architecture practices, and revenue growth. With an emphasis on improving commitment, consumption, and client satisfaction, she has developed robust frameworks and best practices that position her team at the forefront of AI and cloud transformation. 

Prior to her role at Kyndryl, Anshu held senior executive positions at both Google and IBM. At Google, she led a global architecture practice of  professionals and managed a multibillion-dollar portfolio. Her efforts yielded a double digit  increase in revenue and expanded market presence. She was responsible for defining cloud strategies, enhancing digital capabilities, and mentoring top talent within the tech ecosystem. During her time at IBM, she had various roles Anshu served as Vice President for Data and AI, leading a team of 800 professionals and generating over $5 billion in revenue. Prior to that lead  a worldwide team of Cloud and Cognitive Architects and spearheaded the architect community .  As the CTO for IBM’s Middle East and Africa region, she played a pivotal role in market expansion and business development, shaping digital strategies in emerging economies. 

Throughout her career, Anshu has worked closely with Fortune 500 clients such as American Express, Morgan Stanley, Walmart, Aetna, Cigna, and DBS Bank, guiding them through critical transformation journeys in areas including customer service, compliance, sustainability, and cybersecurity. Her expertise spans AI/GenAI, digital transformation, global operations, crisis management, and sustainability reporting. She is recognized as a Distinguished Engineer and a thought leader in enterprise architecture and Data/ AI, with two published books and numerous articles to her credit. She led the IBM Cloud Architecture Center, and Google Solution Design Method that with pivotal in solution design based on design thinking. 

Anshu's impact transcends her executive achievements. She is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, actively promoting gender equity in technology. Her leadership roles in Women@Cloud initiatives at Google and IBM reflect her enduring commitment to shaping inclusive environments and uplifting underrepresented voices in the tech industry. She was among the first two Indian origin women distinguished engineers in the USA.  She has been honored as one of the Top 50 Asian American Business Leaders by AABDC and is a two-time recipient of the Tech Leadership Award for Women of Color. She recently received the “Marquis Who’s Who of America 2024” award. 

Beyond the boardroom, Anshu is a global citizen with a zest for culture and learning. She has traveled to over 80 countries, is a lifelong learner of languages and music, and is deeply passionate about bridging cultural differences through innovation and empathy. Her role as an Advisory Board Member further highlights her diverse interests and her belief in the potential of wellness technology. 

With an educational foundation that includes an MS in Computer Science from Lviv Polytechnical Institute and Executive CTO course business mgmt and technology from Wharton.
