P. Sapna Nair is a global technology and operations executive known for building and scaling India-based Global Capability Centers (GCCs) into strategically aligned extensions of multinational enterprises. Across nearly three decades of leadership in global technology organizations, she has combined deep engineering expertise with enterprise-scale strategy and execution, commercial discipline, and governance maturity.
Sapna began her career as a software engineer, developing strong foundations in software architecture, distributed systems, and large-scale platform design. That early technical rigor continues to inform her executive judgment and systems thinking. A technology leader by foundation and a global executive by evolution, Sapna has built and scaled India-based GCCs for leading international enterprises including Eventbrite, Saviynt, Groupon, and Epsilon (Publicis Groupe), evolving them into enterprise capability hubs powering global engineering, innovation, and operational execution.
In multiple roles, she carried dual leadership responsibilities, serving simultaneously as India Country Leader and Global Engineering Leader across North America, Europe, and APAC. At Saviynt, where India represented nearly half the company’s global workforce, she served as General Manager and a member of the global Executive Leadership Team, strengthening governance cadence and cross-regional integration. At Eventbrite, as Managing Director (India) and Vice President (Engineering), she aligned country leadership with global marketplace strategy and managed cross-border capability transitions without operational disruption. At Groupon and Epsilon, she guided modernization and organizational redesign initiatives that enhanced scalability while reinforcing operational continuity. Her broader enterprise experience includes Intuit, ThoughtWorks, Honeywell, and Philips.
Her leadership extends beyond technology into cross-functional enterprise stewardship across finance, HR, talent acquisition, compliance, facilities, sales, professional services and customer support. She has overseen multi-million-dollar optimization initiatives while preserving continuity and operational stability. Her leadership portfolio includes enterprise transformation initiatives spanning platform modernization, AI integration, cloud strategy evolution, operating model redesign, and structural optimization across global teams. She consistently aligns technology execution with board-relevant priorities such as risk management, governance cadence, enterprise resilience and long-term technology capability.
Building India-based Global Capability Centers from inception to scale, Sapna transformed them into enterprise capability centers embedded in global operating models. She navigated early credibility barriers, aligned global stakeholders around sustained capability investment, and embedded governance mechanisms that strengthened India operations within global enterprise frameworks.
A defining strength of her leadership is the integration of structural clarity with high-trust culture. Sapna institutionalizes governance rhythms, embeds accountability frameworks, and strengthens executive alignment. She builds high-performance environments anchored in transparency, inclusion, and long-term talent development. Her approach reflects a Board-ready mindset, balancing innovation with oversight, growth with risk discipline, and ambition with accountability. In her leadership philosophy, enduring performance emerges when individuals feel valued, heard, and empowered alongside clear structural discipline.
A strong advocate of diversity across gender, background, discipline, and lived experience, Sapna believes innovation strengthens when differences are intentionally integrated into enterprise systems. As Chair and Speaker at Grace Hopper Celebration India, she has shaped executive-level conversations on leadership evolution, technology, and the future of GCCs, while mentoring emerging entrepreneurs and strengthening inclusive innovation ecosystems.
A firm believer in continuous learning, she has been expanding her governance perspective and long-horizon enterprise lens by deepening her immersion in artificial intelligence and strengthening her board stewardship foundations through the Women on Management & Boards (WOMB) program by Mentor My Board, reinforcing her readiness for Board Directorship responsibilities. She also advanced a sustainability-driven personal initiative, underscoring her conviction that responsible leadership balances growth, resilience and societal accountability.
Now, as a Founding Member at early-stage startup RippleMun, she is building an AI-first platform to scale resilience in students by integrating emerging AI capabilities with responsible, human-centered design.
Her philosophy reflects her leadership journey: “Capability earns credibility. Empathy sustains it. Alignment across ecosystems creates lasting impact.”
In an AI-shaped global landscape, Sapna brings enterprise technology depth, seasoned global execution, AI fluency, and governance-grounded organizational leadership, defining her as a leader to watch in 2026.
