Elizabeth Premazzi

Elizabeth Premazzi is an award-winning architect, interior designer, and global construction and development leader whose work spans more than two decades across Brazil, Denmark, China, Africa, and the United States. With over 24 years of international experience, her career reflects a rare blend of creative vision, technical command, and cultural intelligence, positioning her as a powerful force shaping human-centered spaces on a global scale.

Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Elizabeth has led landmark projects across residential, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use, and cultural sectors. One of her most notable achievements is serving as the Principal and Interior Architect for 1900 Broadway in Oakland, where she reimagined every aspect of the development, from apartments to amenities, integrating sustainability, functionality, and Feng Shui principles. Her end-to-end leadership across design, MEP coordination, procurement, and construction resulted in a 30 percent cost saving while earning national media recognition.

Earlier in her career, Elizabeth founded Elizabeth Premazzi A+D in Shanghai, where she delivered more than 11 million square feet of master-planned communities and high-rise developments across Asia and Africa. Each project was deeply informed by local culture and context, reinforcing her belief that meaningful design must reflect both people and place. Her work has been recognized by the IAIC Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards and featured in respected publications including ¡Hola! Beyond large-scale developments, Elizabeth has also made a significant impact in cultural and educational spaces. At the Blackhawk Museum, she designed and curated three immersive galleries, Into China, Art of Africa, and World of Nature. As the Founder of Elizabeth Premazzi A & D, she continues to lead projects focused on interior architecture, adaptive reuse, ground-up construction, and turnkey project delivery.
