Emerging Visionaries Making Their Mark in 2026

About

Some visions are born from opportunity; others emerge from a lifelong refusal to accept limitations as permanent. For Geneviève Dubé, Founder of Sonic Dominion, the journey toward building something entirely her own has been shaped by curiosity, resilience, relentless experimentation, and a deeply rooted belief in personal agency.

Born in Repentigny, Quebec, Canada, Geneviève grew up in a middle-class family whose roots on both sides were remarkably modest. Entrepreneurship was not part of her family background, although engineering was prominent on her father’s side. From an early age, she recognized that same systems-oriented way of thinking in herself. Curious, analytical, rebellious, and eager to understand how things worked, she often questioned what others simply accepted. Feeling like the black sheep at times only strengthened an early conviction: circumstances may influence where someone begins, but they do not have to determine where they end up.

Her intellectual curiosity initially led her toward journalism. After high school, she deliberately stepped beyond her familiar environment and earned admission to a highly competitive journalism program, finishing second among approximately 2,000 applicants. The experience sharpened her writing, research, and critical-thinking abilities. One professor, however, offered an observation that would stay with her: while he considered her an exceptional writer, he believed her imagination was too strong for the objectivity traditional journalism demanded. What she could not fully appreciate then would later become clearer, her path was unlikely to be conventional.

Around the same period, life presented a far more difficult challenge. Following major changes within her family, Geneviève endured years of severe physical limitations and heavy medication. When a doctor estimated her chances of overcoming the situation at approximately five percent, her response was immediate: “Okay, then I’m part of the 5%.” That moment crystallized something she would carry forward, the idea that externally defined probabilities did not have to become internally accepted limits.

Her instinct for leadership was also becoming visible. At 19, she applied for a director position at a Quebec City bar. When the owner questioned her age, Geneviève confidently argued that not hiring her would be a mistake because she knew she could do the job exceptionally well. She was hired. Over roughly two years, she reorganized operations, implemented inventory controls, negotiated new brand relationships, and introduced structure where basic operational tracking had been limited. During her tenure, daily sales grew from roughly $200 to approximately $3,000–$4,000.

Yet achievement alone was never enough to satisfy her curiosity. Geneviève continued studying, exploring Natural Sciences, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology, before eventually pursuing interior architecture for four years. Through technical design, software, planning, project management, and complex team projects, she further developed the systems thinking that had always come naturally to her. Leadership repeatedly emerged without being something she consciously sought.

Conventional employment eventually proved too restrictive for the autonomy and creative freedom she wanted. During the COVID period, Geneviève launched an e-commerce venture, developed more than 100 products, and built her first website herself in 2020. From product creation and shipping to website construction and business management, she learned entrepreneurship by doing. More importantly, she discovered that ideas require systems, confidence, execution, and persistence before they can become something tangible.

Around 2021, those lessons began converging with a longstanding fascination with the conscious and subconscious mind. Geneviève began actively developing and testing her own neuroacoustic and subliminal technology, experimenting with different structures, layers, frequencies, and configurations to understand what worked and what did not. Dissatisfied with approaches she felt relied too heavily on simply placing affirmations beneath sound, she began building a more intentional architecture of her own. Years of hands-on experimentation, testing, rebuilding, and refinement followed, with each iteration informing the next.

Approximately two years ago, another serious physical injury forced her away from regular work. The resulting period of isolation became unexpectedly productive. Ideas involving mathematical relationships, frequency mapping, system architecture, and interconnected components began coming together with unusual intensity. Geneviève describes the experience as a series of “downloads”, insights she sometimes had to document first and understand gradually. Through continued testing and refinement, these ideas ultimately formed the foundation of Sonic Dominion.

At its core, Sonic Dominion reflects a philosophy developed through Geneviève’s own experiences: people should not have to permanently externalize their power in order to evolve. She recognizes the value of coaching, education, and outside support, but believes meaningful personal development should ultimately strengthen an individual’s autonomy rather than create dependency. Her intention is to provide tools people can privately integrate into their own lives while focusing on deeper internal patterns rather than only external outcomes.

For Geneviève, difficult experiences were not separate from her education; they became part of it. They taught her to create before receiving validation, to treat unsuccessful attempts as information rather than wasted effort, and, in her words, to “create the door” before she could walk through it.

Her ambition for Sonic Dominion therefore extends beyond its current library of audio protocols. She envisions a worldwide ecosystem and community centered on autonomy, trust, exploration, and personal evolution. Her philosophy is fundamentally inside out: when individuals transform their relationship with themselves, their identity, and their internal patterns, what they create externally can begin to change as well.

Geneviève is not following an established path. She is building where she believes a path is missing. Through Sonic Dominion, her larger mission is to help people recognize that conditioning, fear, expectations, and inherited patterns do not have to become permanent identities. Her vision is ultimately simple yet expansive: give people greater access to themselves, place tools for evolution in their own hands, and make internal transformation the foundation for what comes next.
