Prior to AC Authentic, Gerald served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Change Officer (CCO) at ADB, a global TV software company based in Switzerland. During his tenure, he led change management initiatives focused on transitioning the company’s business model from hardware to software. He also developed international marketing strategies, built channel partnerships across Europe, Asia, and the United States, and launched the company’s sales office in Berlin, Germany.

Earlier in his career, Gerald held executive leadership roles at real,- Hypermarkets, part of Metro Group, where he served as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). In this role, he led projects focused on customer experience, corporate culture transformation, CRM, sales capabilities, and sustainability initiatives. During this period, the company received the “Germany’s Most Customer-Oriented Company 2012” award in the service category from Handelsblatt and the University of St. Gallen.

Gerald also served as Managing Director, Senior Strategic Consultant, and Member of the Board of Directors, Europe at Gallup. Based in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, he contributed to rebuilding Gallup’s regional business operations and worked with companies on projects related to customer loyalty, employee engagement, quality management, and organizational performance.

Additional leadership experience includes serving as Vice President Business Development EMEA at Nortel Networks, Marketing Executive for City Public Works Potsdam, and Press Secretary for the State Government of Brandenburg, Germany.

In addition to his executive and consulting work, Gerald is also an author. His publications include #NextGenWork, the Updated Definition of the Future of Work and contributions related to Human Capital Management in German companies.

Gerald Wood holds certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in “Innovation of Products and Services, MIT’s Approach to Design Thinking.” His professional expertise includes change management, product development, customer experience, leadership transformation, and AI-supported organizational development.
