As General Manager of Raxio Angola, she is driving the company’s mission to establish state-of-the-art data centers and strengthen Africa’s digital infrastructure. Her leadership focuses on building sustainable technological ecosystems that foster collaboration, empower local talent, and deliver long-term value for partners and customers.

Before joining Raxio, Maria held several senior leadership positions that shaped her reputation as a transformation-driven executive. As Country Manager at IBM Angola and CIO at Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA), she led groundbreaking digital transformation projects that modernized systems, optimized operations, and elevated customer experiences across the Angolan market. Her extensive tenure at global organizations, including roles in Europe with Henkel, Schneider Electric, and Novabase, further refined her expertise in automation, artificial intelligence, and process excellence.

Holding a PhD in Automation and Robotics and a Master’s in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Maria combines deep technical acumen with strategic foresight. She is also certified in Enterprise Design Thinking, IBM Garage Foundation, and as an International Chief Happiness Officer, reflecting her holistic approach to leadership, where innovation, empathy, and efficiency coexist. Fluent in five languages and active across the African and European markets since 2010, she continues to champion operational excellence, cultural transformation, and sustainable digital growth.
