Israel's Netanyahu Undergoes Successful Prostate Surgery, In Good Condition
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu successfully underwent prostate removal surgery on Sunday and is reported to be in good health. The procedure was performed at the Hadassah Medical Centre in Jerusalem, where doctors confirmed that Netanyahu had awakened from anesthesia and was transferred to the recovery unit for observation.
The surgery occurred amid Israel's ongoing war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which has continued since the unprecedented October 7 attack by Hamas last year.
Netanyahu’s office previously announced that he had been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection caused by benign prostate enlargement. This surgery follows earlier health issues, including a hernia operation in March and a pacemaker implantation in July last year.
Netanyahu will remain under medical observation in the coming days, according to hospital officials. Despite his health concerns, the prime minister remains a key figure during a critical period for Israel.
