Suspicious Death of HDFC Employee Raises Concerns Over Workplace Stress

Lucknow: A 45-year-old HDFC bank employee, Sadaf Fatima, passed away under suspicious circumstances while working at her office. Eyewitnesses reported that she fell off her chair and died instantly. Her body has been sent for postmortem, with initial inquiries suggesting that Fatima was under extreme work pressure. The incident has raised fresh concerns over workplace stress, following a similar case of an Ernst & Young employee dying from alleged overwork. Political leaders, including Akhilesh Yadav, have called for an overhaul of working conditions in both corporate and government sectors.
