UP Dance Teacher Receives Death, Rape Threats Allegedly from ‘Lawrence Bishnoi Gang’ Member
A dance teacher from Basti district in Uttar Pradesh has filed a police complaint alleging harassment and threats of death and rape from an individual claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The man, who contacted her through multiple phone numbers, threatened her life, saying she would be his next victim.
According to the teacher’s complaint, the caller identified himself as a gang member and claimed to have “raped and killed 25 women.” The teacher, known locally and through her dance tutorials on YouTube, said the threats have been ongoing, causing fear and disruption to her personal and professional life.
Law enforcement officials have acknowledged the complaint, with a senior officer confirming that preliminary investigations are underway. Authorities are working to track the numbers used in the threats to verify the caller’s identity and any possible gang connections.
Broader Concerns and Other Threat Reports Linked to the Bishnoi Gang
This is not the only reported instance of threats linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Vikram Singh, Haryana in-charge for Shiv Sena, recently reported receiving a call from a UK number. The caller, identifying himself as Rohit Godara and claiming gang affiliation, demanded a share in Singh’s business.
Lawrence Bishnoi, a prominent figure in criminal activities and currently held in a Gujarat jail, is also suspected in the high-profile killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai. The gang has made headlines previously, with threats directed toward well-known figures, including actor Salman Khan.
The recent cases have prompted police to intensify monitoring of communications linked to the gang, which has become notorious for its involvement in organized crime and threats targeting public figures and local citizens alike.
